Lake Jovita is a guard-gated golf and country club community near Dade City in east Pasco County, with homes built from about 2004 onward on private streets and no CDD. Dues cover the 24-hour guard, playgrounds, a picnic pavilion, two dog parks, tennis and pickleball courts and a fitness trail. Membership for the two championship golf courses, clay tennis courts, a junior Olympic-size pool, a fitness center and clubhouse dining is optional and paid separately. Golf carts are allowed.
