Rosemary Beach is a 105-acre New Urbanist town on Scenic Highway 30A at the east end of Walton County, founded in 1995 on land that was once part of Inlet Beach and planned by Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company. It has more than 400 home sites around a walkable town center with shops, restaurants and a hotel. The property owners' association, incorporated in 1996, maintains the parks, four community pools, tennis courts, the beach club and the network of boardwalks and dune walkovers. The town is not gated, but beach access requires an owner's code or wristband.
