Connerton is an 8,000-acre new town on the former Conner cattle ranch in Land O' Lakes, planned for about 8,500 homes from builders including Lennar, M/I Homes and Taylor Morrison, with a 3,000-acre nature preserve and about 1,800 acres of parks and open space. Its community association was incorporated in 2004. Club Connerton has a resort pool, a fitness center with trainers, tennis and pickleball courts, a café and a full-time activities director.
