Riviera Isles is a gated community of about 1,450 homes around Lake Riviera in west Miramar. Its master association was incorporated in 1999, and neighborhoods such as Portofino have their own associations. The community has two guard-gated entrances, on 160th Avenue (Dykes Road) and the main gate on 172nd Avenue.
