Highland Lakes is a 55-plus community of single-family homes, villas and condominiums in Palm Harbor near Lake Tarpon. Dues include golf on three 9-hole executive courses with no green fees, the main clubhouse on MacGregor Drive with an auditorium, two heated pools, tennis, pickleball, bocce and shuffleboard, and a craft building with a woodshop. A lodge on Lake Tarpon adds a pool, fishing pier, boat ramp, pontoon boats and RV and boat storage. Many sections, such as the Highland Lakes condominiums and Villas on the Green, have their own sub-associations and fees.
