WaterColor is a 499-acre master-planned beach community on Scenic Highway 30A, designed by Cooper, Robertson & Partners for the St. Joe Company and begun in 1999. It has about 1,020 completed homes, including 117 multifamily units in the Town Center, out of 1,063 planned. Control passed from the developer to the owners' association in 2013. Amenities include six pools, tennis and fitness centers, beach service, the BoatHouse on Western Lake, and a town center with shops and restaurants.
