Julington Creek Plantation covers more than 4,000 acres in northwest St. Johns County, with roughly 5,800 homes built from 1994 to 2023. Its property owners' association was incorporated in 1984. Most homes also pay an annual community development district (CDD) assessment on the tax bill. The CDD owns and runs the main recreation facilities, and the few homes outside the district need a club membership to use them. The 18-hole Julington Creek Golf Club is in the community.
