Piney-Z is an east Tallahassee community off Piney-Z Plantation Road with single-family homes, paired homes and carriage homes in neighborhoods such as Eagleview, Fieldcrest and The Gardens. Its HOA was formed in 1997. A separate community development district (CDD) owns and runs the lodge, pool, fitness center, pavilion and playground, and the community is surrounded by wooded trails.
