Venetian Golf & River Club is a guard-gated WCI community in North Venice with single-family homes, villas and condominiums, built from about 2002 to 2018. Sources put it at roughly 1,100 to 1,300 homes. Its master property owners' association was incorporated in 2002, and neighborhoods such as Santa Maria, Castello and Cipriani have their own associations. Owners also pay a community development district (CDD) assessment. It has an 18-hole golf course, clubhouse, fitness center, pools and nature trails.
