Belmere is a guard-gated community of about 400 Mediterranean-style single-family homes in north Windermere, built from 2001 to 2006. Its homeowners' association was incorporated in 2001. Residents have a clubhouse, resort-style pool, fitness center, tennis and basketball courts, a playground and walking trails. The neighboring Reserve at Belmere on Lake Whitney is a separate gated neighborhood.
