Keene's Pointe is a guard-gated golf community of about 1,050 custom homes in roughly 14 villages on about 950 acres in Windermere, with gates at Chase Road and County Road 535 and many lakefront lots on the Butler Chain of Lakes. Its community association was incorporated in 1998. Residents have a community pool, tennis and basketball courts, a playground, a fishing pier and a private boat ramp. The Jack Nicklaus-designed Golden Bear Club, with its own clubhouse, pool, fitness center and tennis, is a separate membership.
